    The founding fathers faced the following obstacles while establishing a new political system: Inculcating in the minds of the people the faith regarding the work ability of democracy was a tough task that was to be accomplished by the founding fathers. Another task was to maintain the political integrity of newly established states with that of the federal government. The ratification of the Articles of Confederation and bringing an uniformity in its use and interpretation was a tough job for the founding fathers. The founding fathers had to face the critics and clear their doubts regarding the processes of elections and other activities carried out in a democracy.
