in the beginning of the industrial revolution why couldn't cotton growers keep up with the demand for cotton.

    Cotton growers couldn't keep up with the demand for cotton because they did not have enough workers to harvest all the cotton. Which later on lead to the start of slavery.

    Because they didn't have enough harvesters, which led to slavery
