2. Why did immigrants leave their countries and come to America?

Back in the early days of the US and still to this day, thousands of people want to come immigrate to America. In many other countries, people leave because of persecution. People are forced to worship certain idols, believe religions, they get persecuted for their race, color, age, gender and sexual orientation. Some people are fleeing war zones and want to seek peace. the come to the US. There arent any wars here, and we accept all people regardless of who they are, what they look like, race, age, gender, or sexual orientation. People come here so that they can live their lives happily.
