What were pros and cons of being a peasant.

Advantages:

Did not have to fight in wars, did not have to make hard decisions, had protection from knights

Disadvantages:

Less money, bad foods, had to do hard labor, long working hours, didn't get paid much/at all, serfs could not leave without permission
