How did hammond describe the south in comparison to the north? compare this assessment with the experience of the south in the civil war. how did hammond view the south in a global context? what do you think of this assessment?

    Henry Hammond firmly believed that south is stronger region when compared the north and assessed that south can raise a huge army when compared to any other region and he also believed that south is capable of creating an empire and rule in the world. These are fairly personal views of him on the south which may not be entirely valid.
