John's baptism of Jesus was different from his baptism of other people because he was performing baptisms with the ideology that humans are all sinful in need of this washing away and when Jesus approached him to be baptized he acknowledged that Jesus was this Son of God of the trinity in which name he was baptizing all of these people and he believed that Jesus was a perfect man in no need of this. So chiefly Jesus' baptism was different because it was more of an example than in all other cases a necessity.
