Both of the civilisations built temples which were part of the social and political structure of the civilisation. The Norte Chico built housing structures around the temples. Temples in the Norte Chico remodelled over the period. The Chavin civilisation centred on the religion, they build temples as a pyramid shape with flat top structure surrounding with lower structures.
