What do you think led hesiod to believe that the first of the four ages was the best?

    The first age of the five ages of man was called the golden age, when man lived like a god, aged backward, lived for long and knew no sorrow. The poet and philosopher depict in his epic that the era created by Titanic was ended by the second age when Titan was conquered by Zeus.
