Hello, During the viking age the vikings tried conquering as much land as possible. They were found doing there job all through out iceland. There boats were engineered in a way it made the islanders feer of them the technology they had the weapons and strength were use full of. When they started to impact Europe that was a fifty fifty fight since Europe had a slightly higher chance of better technology and weapons.

While the common consensus is that the impact of the Vikings during the Viking Age, which lasted from about 800 AD to 1100 AD, was not very enduring as the Vikings were skilled at assimilating into the local population, the Viking culture has had a lasting impact on the art, technology, society, and trade of every population they encountered.
