    Marquis de Lafayette was a hero in two countries namely France and the United States. He has served in the army for both countries. In America, he was the major general of the Virginia infantry and had fought in the Battle Brandywine and other battles. He was also a liaison officer in New Jersey for the French Admiral.

    In France, upon his return from the United States, he was a celebrated hero held in prestige by the king and the queen. He became one of the king's right-hand men consulting with the ministers.
