    The change that was introduced by the Council of Trent to Catholic Church was B) Members of the Catholic clergy were required to avoid luxurious lifestyles.

    The Council main aim was to address the corruption in Church. For this reason, it was required that the clergy receive proper education in seminaries and ordination through a diocese. Furthermore, it was established that bishops must reside in their diocese and it was forbade the sale of indulgences.
