What was determined to be Lee Harvey Oswald's role in the Kennedy assassination? He was part of a broad conspiracy. He accidentally shot President Kennedy. He acted alone. He did not participate in the assassination.

    According to the Warren Commission, the group responsible for investigating the assassination, he acted alone.

    However, conspiracy theories still abound and a sizeable percent of the population does not believe he acted alone. Most of the Warren report has been released and in 2017 missing information that was withheld for national security reasons is to be released.
