I live in the colony with the largest numbers of slaves. where do i live?

    People were kidnapped and bought in Africa, were brought to America and forced in to slavery. They were used to work as indentured servants and laborers. The slaves became even more important when America was expanding westwards and more territory was added to US. It was abolished after the Civil war. The southern states were producing tobacco, sugarcane and cotton and huge numbers of labourers were engaged in work in this region. But during the time of American Revolution less than ten percent of total number of slaves lived in thirteen colonies and worked in agriculture. The greatest number of slaves were in the south side and less than ten percent of the slaves resided in the North side.
