What was social, economic, and political life like in europe in the middle ages?.

Most people during the middle ages lived in rural areas and their main profession was farming. Sometimes they rented lands from landlord for farming. Small number of people lived in towns and it was the center of trade and commerce. Powerful and rich men of towns became city alderman and elected one of their own as mayor.

Depends on period for ehemple High Middle Ages 11th till 14th century were time of great economic boom growing cities decentralization creation of universities local governments and many invtentions due to such Early medieval inventions like heavy plough and tri field system and Medieval technological revolution or so called frist industrial revolution with main product of that technological revolution blast furnance, so it was time of great improvment for all social clases
