What led to the transatlantic slave trade

    The transatlantic slave trade began during the 15th century when Portugal, and subsequently other European kingdoms, were finally able to expand overseas and reach Africa. The Portuguese first began to kidnap people from the west coast of Africa and to take those they enslaved back to Europe.

    firstly is was a mind set because the blacks accepted the white in their country peace and with no intention of harming them but the white had a rule mindset.

    finally weapons the white had a strong weapons to defend themselves during wars whiles the blacks didn't
