    This Snowy Mountain Scheme is the largest Hydro-Electric Scheme known in Australia. While it diverts the reliable waters of the, "South-Flowing Snowy River". Going Westwards beneath the, "Great Dividing Range", and while doing so provides some Electric power and some additional water for the, "Murray and Murrumbidgee", Rivers to be used for irrigation.
