Describe what the Quran teaches about slaves.

Slaves are allowed in Islam but only for the right reasons. you cannot treat them bad because they are human beings 2. the prophet (s. a. w) had a servant and he said that when he goes to the market and buys stuff he buys one for himself and the servent. if he bought 2 shirts one costing 2 dirham and the other one 3 dirham he said that he will give the expensive one to his servant because he is doing everything and he deserves a nice happy life. so I'll say the Quran teaches us to be nice to slaves and gave them for the right reason

Before islam peope used to buy and sell and treat them unfairly. the Qur'an says treat them fairly - preferably free them and don't hit them as well as give them rights
