    3 doz = 36 cookies, 2 doz = 24 cookies

    36/3.5 = 24/x

    36x = 84

    x = 84/36

    x = 2.33 = 2 1/3 ... so for 2 doz, u need 2 1/3 cups flour

    36/1 = 24/x

    36x = 24

    x = 24/36

    x =.666 = 3/5 ... and 3/5 cup of sugar

    36/2.75 = 24/x

    36x = 66

    x = 66/36

    x = 1.83 cups of chocolate chips
