In a class of 24 students, 13 of them sold over 150 raffle tickets each, and the rest of the class sold about 60 raffle tickets each. The class goal was to sell 2,000 tickets. Did they reach their gols? Explain

    So, there are 24 students.

    We know that 13 of them sold over 150 tickets each.

    The other 11 students sold about 60.

    13*150=1950

    11*60=660

    660+1950=2610

    Yes, they reached their goal because the class sold 2610 tickets in all.
