How do you do 7x > 56

    Well, you can do anything to it as long as you it to both sides

    (also if you divide or multply by a negaive, you have to flip the sign like from > to < and vice verca)

    7x>56

    we want only 1x

    7/7=1 so

    divide both sides by 7 to keep it same

    7/7x>56/7

    1x>8

    x>8

    x is greater than 8 but not including 8 is teh solution

    Well. All you do is just divide both sides by 7. That's all.

    7x > 56

    /7 / 7

    x > 8.
