A sector of a circle has a central angle of 45 ∘. find the area of the sector if the radius of the circle is 5 cm.

    Area of the whole circle = πr² = π (5) ² = 25π

    Area of the sector = 45/360 x 25π = 9.82 cm²

    Answer: 9.82 cm²
