    |2x + y - 3z|

    Plug in the values

    |-4 + 10 - 9|

    = |-3|

    = 3

    The answer is (3) because when all the letters are turned into numbers then solved it becomes [-4+10 + (-9) ] then you have to turn it into a positive because of the lines.
