How many different outcomes are possible when a pair of dice, one red and one white, are rolled two successive times?

    There may be four outcomes.

    It should be (6 * 6) * 2 = 72

    The number of different outcomes for each die is 6 when rolled once, for the two it will be 6 * 6 = 36 ... then when rolled twice, it should be 72
