Four families each bought the same number of chairs to s block party. Three more chairs are needed to seat all 27 people. How many chairs did each family bring?

    Each family brought 6 chairs because if you take 4x6, you get 24, which means that if each family brought 6 chairs which adds up to 24, three more are needed. So the answer is each family brought 6 chairs.
