What is the y-value in the solution to this system of linear equations?

4x + 5y = - 12

-2x + 3y = - 16

A: - 4

B: - 2

C: 2

D: 5

    4x+5y=-12 (1)

    -4x+6y=-32 (2)

    (1) + (2) = > 11y=-44

    y=-4

    so A : - 4
