    The answer is D. 6 x 3 is 18 and 6 x 6y is 36y.

    The answer is D. 18 + 36y because if you multiply 6 and 3 you get 18, and if you multiply 6 and 6y you get 36y. Because 36y is positive the + sign is kept.
