During the first six months of operation, Abdoul's lemonade stand made a profit of $50 per month. In the next three months it has losses of $120, $30 and $200 respectively. What was the overall profit or loss for Abdoul's lemonade stand?

    profit, p = 6 * $50 = $300

    losses, l = 120 + 30 + 200 = $350

    overall = p - l = - $50

    loss of $50
