Since it's - 7 you're going to add seven to both sides so - 7 and + 7 cancel each other out then - 13 + positive seven so - 13+7 should be - 6 then since there's a one behind the eight today and it should basically just be six

We need to make h alone.
Add 7 to both sides to remove - 7 from the right, and multiply both sides by - 1 to make h positive. Doesn't matter which you do first.
Result:
6=h
h=6
