the length of a rectangle is 4 times its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 100cm, find its length and width

    l = 4w

    4w + 4w + w + w = 100

    w = 10

    If the width is 10, then the length has to be 40.

    4 (10) + 4 (10) + 10 + 10 = 100

    40 + 40 + 10 + 10 = 100

    100 = 100
