Jesse buys 7 granola bars for $3.15. Caroline purchases 13 granola bars for x. if the unit price remains the same, what is the value of x?

    First we find the price of 1 granola bar:

    $3.15 / 7 granola bars = $0.45 per granola bar

    13 granola bars * $0.45 each = x

    13 * 0.45 = $5.85

    x = $5.85
