Spherical water storage tank has a radius of 10 ft. a cubic foot of water is about 7.5 gallons. How many gallons of water will the tank hold?

    Volume of a sphere = (4/3) π (radius) ³

    Volume of this tank = (4/3) π (10-ft) ³ cubic feet

    At 7.5 gallons per cubic foot, that's 31,416 gallons.
