    Explanation:

    Since the dimensions are halved, we divide the length, the width and the height by 2. So, here are the new dimensions

    length = 4 cm

    width = 5 cm

    height = 2 cm

    Hence the surface area is given by

    Surface area = 2[ (length) (width) + (length) (height) + (width) (height) ]

    = 2[4 (5) + 4 (2) + 5 (2) ]

    = 2[20 + 8 + 10]

    = 2 (38)

    Surface area = 76 square centimeters
