    You can consider ratios as fractions exg 1; 2 is kind of like 1/2 so

    40/15

    we can factor out the 'ones' (exg 4/8=1/2 times 4/4 [4/4=1])

    40/15

    40=2*2*2*5

    15=3*5

    factor out the 5

    2*2*2/3

    8/3

    to find proptional ones just multiply the top and bottom number by the same number exg

    8/3 times 4/4

    8/3 times 3.14/3.14

    and so on

    so some are

    8/3

    16/6

    24/9

    48/18

    56/21

    64/29

    The question is a little confusing,

    For something to be proportional a constant has to be involved

    E. G. A is proportional to B so A = kB

    Any ratio that simplifies to 8 : 3 is the same.
