Whats the fuction that represents a geometric sequence

    Any geometric sequence can be expressed as:

    a (n) = ar^ (n-1)

    a (n) = the value of the nth term

    a=initial term

    r=common ratio. The constant found when any term is divided by the term preceding it.

    n=term number.
