First thing u need to do is put ur numbers in order ... when ur looking for the median, u need to do this.

60,67,68,81, (83,88),88,90,92,92

the median is the middle number

* * if u have an odd number of numbers, the middle number is easy to find

* * but if u have an even number of numbers, like this problem does, then u will have 2 middle numbers ... find those 2 middle numbers, add them, then divide by 2 and that is ur median.

so ur 2 middle numbers are : 83 and 88 ... add them and u get 171 ... divide by 2 and u get 85.5 < = = ur median
