    49 is not a prime number bc a prime number is a number that can only be multiplied by 1 nd itself but 49 can be multiplied by 7 nd 7; 1 nd 49

    49 is not a prime number because it can be multiplied in 2 ways.

    1) 49*1=49

    2) 7*7=49

    All Prime numbers can be only be multiplied by 1
