Two angles are supplementary. one angle is 3 degrees less than twice the other. find the measure of the angles.

    Supplementary angles are angles that add to 180 degrees, so if we set the second angle to be x degrees, we can say that the first is 2x-3 degrees and therefore we have that:

    (2x-3) + x = 180

    3x - 3 = 180

    3x = 183

    x = 61 degrees

    So one angles is 59 degrees and the other is 119 degrees
