a professional driver completes one lap around the track at Daytona International Speedway which is 2.5 miles long at 80 miles per hour. is it possible for the driver to drive the second lap and make his overall average 160 miles per hour

    No it is no possible because he would have had to had completed both laps in the time it took him to complete his first lap, but because he has already used that time, it is impossible.
