    The women’s age plus the sons would be 27

    Women age = 3 + 2 S (sons age) (three times more twice her sons age)

    their age sum is 84

    so women age + son age = 84

    lets substitute the value of mothers age

    3+2S+S=84

    3S=84-3

    3S=81

    S=27

    so sons age is 27
