To decide what to eat at a restaurant, Frank closes his eyes, places his finger on the menu, and orders whichever dish he places his finger on. He chooses one salad, one main course, and a dessert. If there were 10 possible dishes for each selection, how many possible combinations could he have chosen other than the one he selected? 99

    I believe your right or it might be 9 not 99

    cuz if he picks one out of all three selections

    10=dessert

    10=main course

    10=salad

    so that would be one of each 30 things to pick from 3 out of the 30 left would be 27 thing he could havepicked

    so ether one
