A recipe calls for 4/5 cup of vegetable oil if the recipe is tripled how much vegetable oil is needed

    In order to triple this you have to put 3 in fraction form (3/1, 3 because triple is 3). 4/3 x 3/1 equals 12/5. If you are required to simply then the answer would be 2, 2/5.
