Whole number and fraction

The number which is more than 1 or 1 is a whole number while the fractional number is less than 1. So if we have 1 whole pizza we call it a whole and if we divide it it becomes into a fractional number and if we eat a piece from it it become to a fractional number. EG: The whole pizza was divided into 8 pieces and eat 3 the fractional number will be 3/8. Which is not the full pizza.
