    1 yard = 3 feet

    do a proportion:

    1 yard / 3 feet = 12 yards / x feet

    Find the x

    12 x 3 = 36, 36/1 = 36

    so, x = 36 feet (banners)

Marita can make 36 banner if she needs one for the fabric for each banner
