    You would do 2 (2) + 2 (1/3) = 4 2/3.

    To solve that equation you first would have to multiply both whole number 2x2=4

    Then you would put your 2 over 1 and make the fraction 2/1 then multiply 2/1 and 1/3 making it 2/3 so your answer is 2 and 2 thirds (2,2/3)
