    3 * 2 * 2 = 12 feet cubed (the volume of the carton)

    4 * 5 * 6 = 120 feet cubed (the volume of the carton)

if it takes 3 seconds to fill a carton with a volume of 12 then how long will it take to fill a carton with a volume of 120?

    12:3 = 4

therefore 4 feet cubed is the amount of space that the carton will be filled with per second.

    120 : 4 = 30

therefore it takes 30 seconds to fill a carton that measures 4 feet by 5 feet by 6 feet.
