The improper fraction as a mixed number in simplest form

    Let's say the fraction is 18/7

    Divide the numerator (top) by the denominator. (bottom) So it would look like 18:7=2.6 (rounded! not exact 'cause that is just a long decimal) which is That same as 2 and 6/10. Then you divide 6 by 10 to get 2 and 3/5
