A recipe calls for 3/4 cup of flour. you have only 1/2 cup of flour. what fraction of the recipe can you make?

    3/2 is the number because you would have to divide the 3/4 by 1/2 and whenever you divide by a fraction you must multiply by the reciprocal and you would get 3/2.
