If all the dimensions of a triangle are doubled, the area of the triangle will be doubled, too

    A1=bh/2

    A2=2b*2h/2=2bh

    A2/A1=2bh / (bh/2)

    A2/A1=4bh/bh=4

    So the area is quadrupled not doubled ...
