    Find the total amount paid before taxes were taken out by adding the two amounts together:

    h = 640 + 160 / 20

    640 + 160 = 800

    h = 800 / 20

    Now divide the total amount by the hourly rate:

    h = 40

    First, lets find how much Dante earned before taxes were taken out.

    640 + 160 = $800 total earned that week.

    Second, divide by 20 to find how many hours he worked.

    800 / 20 = 40 hours he worked that week.

    Write an expression to resemble the question. Remember that "h" is the amount of hours he world that week.

    h = (640 + 160) / 2

    Best of Luck!
