The width of a vegetable garden is one third times it's like if the length of the garden is 7 3/4 feet what is the width in simplest form

    Width is (1/3) * (7 3/4) = (1/3) * (31/4) = 31/12

    L = 7 3/4 = 30/4

    so

    30/4 * 1/3

    = 31/12

    = 2 7/12

    answer : width = 2 7/12 ft
